Samsung officially announced the Samsung I7500 Android cellphone. It has dimensions of 115x56x11.9mm, which makes it very thin for a smartphone.
The 5-megapixel camera should provide enough resolution for most users and comes with autofocus and an LED for lighting up subjects in dark situations.
Samsung I7500 also has a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen running at 320 x 480. This display technology boasts better battery efficiency compared with regular LCD screens commonly found in most mobile phones.
I7500 has 40GB of storage - 8GB internal up to 32GB via a microSD card. The i7500 is quad-band GSM/EDGE, tri-band 900/1700/2100MHz HSDPA 7.2Mbps / HSUPA 5.76Mbps 3G and Wi-Fi.
There’s also Bluetooth 2.0, a 1,500mAh battery and the usual bevy of Google applications and access to the Android Market.
Samsung I7500 has managed to include a full 3.5mm audio jack. and microUSB port.
The Samsung I7500 mobile phone will be available in EU countires from June, 2009.
